No prior experience is required, and all bodies are welcome.

PAST WORKSHOPS

This Saturday I’ll be leading a free community workshop (w/ support from @veggiemijxsbayarea), sharing many of the tools that helped me overcome my spine surgeries from a congenital condition & be able to walk + dance again. I want to keep passing this along in hopes that any part of it can help you heal + become more grounded & stable physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.  

March 30th from 2-6pm at @medicinefornightmares at 3036 24th St, San Francisco, CA 94110:

  • 2-3pm browse through the magic of Medicine for Nightmares bookstore

  • 3-4:30pm Psoas workshop

  • 4:30-4:45pm Q & A

  • 4:45-5:30pm Enjoy herbal infusions/tea + meet your community

Come join us to explore and understand the deep significance of the deeply rooted and spiritual Psoas muscle in your body and how it’s health, function and resilience are vital to maintaining not only a healthy spine & hip function, but also nervous system balance. We will learn some techniques, exercises and practices to achieve and maintain optimal Psoas function, how it relates to the rest of the body, and can influence holistic/overall well-being.

 

Please bring the following props : yoga mats or padded mats, yoga blocks/thick books, blanket, and yoga straps/woven straps. Don’t forget a 4-6 inch woven strap that can be tied in a knot for added flexibility. A body massage ball or softball/tennis ball wrapped in a sock. If you own any/have the capacity to do so, please bring any extra props you might have to share with the community.
